Founded in 2008, Boston String Ensemble provides live string music for weddings, corporate gatherings, cultural celebrations, receptions, and special occasions throughout New England. With more than 1,200 weddings and special events to our name, we bring together musical artistry, thoughtful planning, and experienced management to create performances tailored to each occasion. *Our Client Experience* We believe a successful performance begins long before the first note. We carefully review and select transcriptions that translate well to strings, and we create many arrangements ourselves. We believe a well-crafted arrangement brings out the best in both the music and the musicians, balancing the character of the original piece with the expressive possibilities of a string ensemble. From meaningful personal requests to music suited to a particular setting, we tailor each program to the occasion while maintaining a natural flow between selections. *Our Musicians’ Experience* Boston String Ensemble is built around a small, established core team of fewer than ten musicians, together with a few trusted additional players. When assembling groups for events, we consider not only availability but also musical fit and how well musicians work together. Several members of our core team have performed together for more than 15 years, developing a shared musical understanding and a natural sense of collaboration.
