Alicia Juniper
Business Development Intern
Hi everyone!
It is with a great deal of excitement that I begin my journey alongside the Encore team as a Business Development Intern.
To work amongst such skilled and passionate musicians at Encore is definitely somewhat of a dream come true. The collective musical energy on the team is a uniquely inspiring force to have in a workplace!
Considering the recent events of the pandemic and the resulting uncertainty that’s loomed over the gig economy, it is a privilege to be able to assist in the resurrection of the live music industry for the joyful masses.
Music has always been interwoven into the fibres of my being more than anything I’ve ever grown into, with my earliest memories being of my dad hoisting me up onto his shoulders and dancing around to the Red Hot Chilli Peppers before nursery. Then, from the age of 6, I began learning the piano and then the saxophone. And,18 years later I have never looked back, using both instruments as my most precious emotional outlets and sources of joy.
Following a gap year spent travelling the world, I completed a BAHons Liberal Arts degree focused on English, History, Liberal Politics, and Moral Philosophy before moving to London to pursue a career within the music business industry.
Aside from musical instruments, I love to attend live music concerts and music festivals both in the UK and abroad showcasing a wide variety of artists and genres, from classical symphonies to dark drum and bass rollers. On the rare occasions when I’m not engaging with music I also enjoy cycling, eating out, reading and writing dystopian novels, and listening to true crime podcasts.
I can’t wait to get to know everyone on the team more and will always appreciate musical tips and album recommendations!

Alice says: “It’s just crisp, ambient, and beautifully produced. Soul-searching with an infectiously cheeky wobble, this is top tier drum and bass.”
