Based in New York City, he began his career as a DJ at just 13 years old and has been lighting up dance floors ever since. With a career spanning decades, DJ Tanco has brought his signature sound to some of New York City’s most iconic venues, including Limelight, Roxy, Palladium, Webster Hall, The Tunnel, Jimmy's Bronx Café, Stonewall, and many more. His talent has also taken him beyond NYC, spinning at renowned clubs like Firestone in Orlando, Beach Bum in San Juan, and military bases on the West Coast during his time in the U.S. Marine Corps. Currently, DJ Tanco holds residencies at top venues including Made In Olivia’s Restaurant & Lounge, and Cherry’s on the Bay in Fire Island. His musical range spans Salsa, Merengue, Classic Dance, Mainstream Dance, and Underground House—but his true passion lies in Tribal House and Progressive House, which he also produces and remixes in his studio. Known for his adaptability and intuitive crowd-reading skills, DJ Tanco prides himself on satisfying 99–100% of song requests, understanding the importance of connecting with diverse audiences.
