Hey guys!
I’m so excited to be joining the Encore team. Working with such warm, passionate and musical people is a dream!
My love for music began, let’s say… very, very young. Performing live concerts, plays and musicals for my family was a daily occurrence. I think they got so sick of my daily matinée and evening shows, I was put straight into theatre and dance school by the foetal age of three!
I trained at the former CPA Studios Theatre College for 6 years, then moved on to Tomorrows Talent and trained for a further 10 years. Throughout that time, I was involved in many productions with my schools including National Theatre plays; Basset and Status Update and Musicals; Our House, RENT, Miss Saigon, FAME and many, many more.
During my school years, I also sang with Chelmsford Cathedral girls’ Choir for 4 years, as well as singing commercially for my Music GCSE and A-level. I live to perform on stage and I’m still hoping to pursue a career in musical theatre and/or hopefully sing and make good music for a living.
Aside from performing, I also love being sat in the stalls watching a good show from the audience with hundreds of other theatre enthusiasts. When I find a show I love… people have said I become slightly obsessed… Not too sure what they mean by that though, I ONLY saw Dreamgirls 7 times!
Having now graduated with a degree in Multimedia Broadcast Journalism and two international internships with Al Jazeera Media News Network, I aim to use my newfound skills to help tell the stories of other passionate musicians with big dreams like myself and the music lovers who book them for events. I look forward to being able to do just that, right here with Encore and its vast array of talented musicians all over the UK.
