I'm Alex the company founder and main DJ and I have a real passion and wealth of experience when it comes to parties and events. We listen to you, after all its your event, we are able to read the crowd, but also welcome playlists and songs/genre suggestions, along with requests on the night if you so choose. The perfect DJ for our year 13 prom, he took song requests and was able to play songs which were fitting for the crowd. Everyone had such a great time especially when they were behind the DJ booth! Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a DJ.

Hey Mr DJ saved our day when the original DJ was not able to meet minimum paperwork requirements set by the venue for our big day. Wonderfully professional, excellent communication and very punctual. We had a great set of songs played on the day from our choices and Hey Mr DJ put a great spin on them. Would highly recommend. We had a great evening dancing away.

We hired 'Hey Mr DJ' for our wedding this April. Great communication from the beginning and a handy online form helped us tailor exactly what we wanted from song requests to timings of a confetti canon. Alex was lovely and kept the dance floor going all night! There was something for everyone! Would highly recommend hiring the Magic Mirror as an extra. Guests had so much fun and the lady running it was lovely, smiley and great fun! Would highly recommend to anyone who wants someone reliable, professional, friendly and dedicated to providing your exact vision. Thank you both for a great night!

What do your clients love most about your performances?

We are high energy, engaging and friendly, we have the experience to read the crowd, but also understand our clients wants and overall vision for their event. A flexible approach is key.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Too many to mention all of them, but a large number of wedding venues across London and the Home Counties. A great one we played at a few months ago was The Berkeley Hotel in Knightsbridge. We have also played at Hever Castle, Ashdown Park, Wotton House, a lot of very nice Golf Clubs and Hotels all over our covered area. Each week brings a new surprise.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

As DJ's we don't play our own favourite tracks often, we focus on the dance floor and the clients requests.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

All our clients are high profile to us.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

Timings often change with events and we only ever DJ at one event in a day, as long as we are informed beforehand it shouldn't be a problem.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

When you book a DJ with us we DJ for the duration of the booking.

How much time do you need to set up?

This will depend on the amount of equipment and services you book with us but on average 1 to 1.5 hours. It will be roughly the same to pack down all the equipment at the end of the night.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

We provide a vast range of music and are experienced in reading a crowd. However, you are welcome to provide us with a playlist of your favourite songs, a song list or genres you would prefer as well as ones you don't want played. Requests are welcome if you wish. We are happy to discuss the music for the event with you.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

We bring everything we need, all we require is the venue to supply the electric power and we have to be undercover from rain and bad weather.
