Is a Venezuelan Composer / Violinist / Dj. Winner of the 2020 Pepsi Award (Electronic Category) with his first musical production called '' sensation '', José Lugo was born in Falcón-Coro on December 11, 1997. He began his musical studies at the age of 9 in "El Sistema" Venezuela, where he interpreted a very wide repertoire of academic music and complex works of the classical repertoire on the violin, his main instrument (Concierto for violin by Felix Meldenson, Violin Concerto Max Bruch in G minor, Violin Concerto N4 in D Major by W.A.Mozart, Partitas de Bach n3 and a very high orchestral repertoire as usual in his country of origin Venezuela.The young man integrated important orchestras in his native country as the National Children's Orchestra of Venezuela, Generalissimo Francisco de Miranda Orchestra and the Emblematic Symphony Orchestra of Falcón State. In 2017, Jose Lugo, at the age of 19, moved to the Dominican Republic to expand his musical creativity with other Caribbean colors and continue to grow by adding experiences. Lugo has collaborated on shows and recordings with award-winning and Latin Grammy-nominated Dominican artists such as Dimelo Brasa, Manny Cruz, Rubiera. His compositions have gone hand in hand with production working with Kairo La Sinfonia Jose AlberYo Robles. In the academic world he has received master classes with violinists such as Aysha Syed and Nemanja Radulovic. In Venezuela the tutors Enrique Garcia, Luis David Valles, Mileyde Valera, Francisco Diaz were part of the music and violin classes under the principles of the Latin American violin academy. He has participated in Venezuelan orchestras under the baton of Gustavo Dudamel, Simon Rattle, Daniel Baremboin among others. The young José has been recognized and applauded by a large number of Latino artists on social networks due to the originality of his musical arrangements, interpreting covers in an extraordinary way. Chyno Miranda, Nacho, Juanes, Lele Pons, Sebastian Yatra, Dalex, Danny Ocean among many more have valued his musical versions. He has also performed at the 2021 Soberanos Awards of the Dominican Republic as a solo violin, opening a show for Dominican artists such as Yiyo sarante and Daniel Santa Cruz. The young musician has made a promotional tour in different TV media in the Dominican Republic and Venezuela. In the DR he stood out on stage, collaborating with producers such as Antonio Musica, Alfio Lora and recording violins for other producers in the area. He is also part of the Hispaniola Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra; In the years of his experiences in the Dominican Republic, he carried out an impeccable career, being the favorite for musicals with the violin for his excellence and versatility in musical genres. He currently resides in New York projecting himself in the local industry and following his dream of living from his passion for “music". He is currently an associate member of the Latin Grammy Academy and is finishing his first studio album.
