What do your clients love most about your performances?

Clients appreciate my ability to blend familiar favorites with unexpected discoveries while reading the room and adapting to the audience. Whether performing original music or curating an event soundtrack, I focus on creating an atmosphere that feels engaging, intentional, and memorable.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I've performed at festivals, Pride events, fashion shows, community celebrations, and independent venues across the United States. Highlights include St. Louis Pride, Albuquerque Pride, SheFest San Diego, South Carolina Pride, WFSU (D.C. Women's Music Festival), Sweet Auburn Festival in Atlanta, The Family Affair Festival, and multiple fashion show events.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

My influences span hip hop, electronic, R&B, alternative, and dance music. Artists such as Outkast, Kilo Ali, and Santigold have influenced my approach to rhythm, storytelling, genre-blending, and the creation of immersive musical experiences.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Some of my most notable performances have been at major public festivals and Pride events, including St. Louis Pride and Sweet Auburn Festival in Atlanta. Over the years, I've performed for audiences ranging from intimate gatherings to large-scale public events attended by thousands.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I understand that event schedules can shift. If your timing changes, just let me know as soon as possible, and I'll do my best to accommodate. Minor adjustments are usually no problem. Larger schedule changes or additional hours may require an updated quote depending on availability.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes. Continuous music coverage is available and can be tailored to your event's needs. Whether you need background music for arrivals, networking, breaks, or transitions, I can help create a smooth, consistent experience throughout the event.

How much time do you need to set up?

I typically ask for about 60 minutes for setup and sound check when providing equipment. Setup requirements may vary depending on the venue and event needs. If I'm providing music curation only and using a venue's existing system, setup time may be shorter.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Absolutely. Every event is different, and I welcome input on genres, artists, songs, and overall musical direction. I'll work with you to understand the atmosphere you're looking for and build the music around your event and audience.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Equipment is available as an optional add-on for select events. I can provide music playback and a basic sound setup for smaller gatherings. A wired microphone is also available upon request. If your venue already has sound equipment, I'm happy to work with the existing setup when possible.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Since my service focuses on music curation and sound management, I can usually incorporate specific songs, artists, or styles into the music plan. If you have important requests, please share them in advance so I can make sure they're included appropriately.
