Pianist/violinist with interests in obscure repertoire & niches in Nikolai Kapustin and mid-century English music. Very quick sight-reader!
I have heard Thomas perform Grand Pianola Music by John Adams, and various pieces for piano and harpsichord. Both performances were flawless; his technique and precision is simply staggering.James McAulay 21 January 2016
Lovely sound, great guy. Can't think of a reason why I wouldn't book Thomas again.
Born and raised in Singapore, Thomas studies at the Royal Academy of Music where he spends more of his time running around accompanying for as many people as possible than practising solo music. He also makes transcriptions of songs to play as concert encores (for whenever he gets concerts) and is a champion of the music of Nikolai Kapustin, with whom he is in correspondence.
You are now following Thomas Ang!
Thanks for the feedback, we really appreciate it.
