Thomas is a Saxophonist from Hertfordshire, Great Britain and is currently studying the first year of his MMus at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, taught by John Harle. He regularly performs with the Schools ensembles, including performances with the GSMD Wind Collective and GSMD Big Band. Thomas graduated from his BMus with Honours in 2017 at the RNCM, and during his time there performed in masterclasses for renowned saxophonists including Vincent David, Johann van der Linden and Phillipe Geiss. Recently Thomas has been active performing, including a Concert with the Guildhall Saxophone Sextet and upcoming performances for the Guildhall New Music Society, with the Voiceworks ensemble at Wigmore Hall and at the World Saxophone Congress 2018 in Zagreb, Croatia performing music for Saxophone and Electronics. Thomas also has keen interest in arranging and editing, and is the Saxophone specialist consultant for the ‘More Graded Studies for Saxophone’ and ‘Improve your Sight Reading for Saxophone’, both published by Faber Music. In his spare time he transcribes and arranges music from recordings which have either gone out or never entered print.
