Based in Derby suzie began playing music at the young age of 12 performing at a variety of events whilst touring the UK. Following a long break she picked up the saxophone again in 2014 and began perfecting her technical abilities and unique sound. She started to study the Saxophone and in 2019 she attended Jazz School UK, joined Hot House Music Saxophone School and played with the ensemble Saxology and has also been a member of the wind band Derby Serenaders. In 2021 she joined Beeston Big Band to enhance her swing and Jazz repertoire. She has a extensive solo list compiled with over 300 tunes to suit a variety of tastes and ages, from Slow Jazz to upbeat pop, Ibiza Dance and rock 'n' roll. Suzie Sax plays Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Baritone Saxophone and doubles on Clarinet and Flute. Suzie can also offer DJ and Sax together.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

no problem, just give me a call or text and I will have a look at my diary, and do my best to accommodate your change.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

yes not a problem I can play a list of your favourite tunes, or if you would like a DJ service I can provide this for an additional £100.

How much time do you need to set up?

I usually set up about 1/2 to 1 hour before the performance time.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

My set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Depends if you have a P/A Speaker system I can plug into or I can bring my P/A.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If a song isn't included in my song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like me to learn we are happy to do this for you. There is a fee of £30 for this service to take into account rehearsal times etc
