The Oxford Gargoyles were founded in 1998 and have toured internationally to three continents. Most recently, the group was selected to sing in the Grand Finals of both the 2012 and 2014 Choir of the Year Competitions, both times performing on national BBC 4 Television. The Gargoyles won the Voice Festival UK Competition in 2010 and the 2007 European Category of the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA) Competition. On the Gargoyles' 2014 tour to Hong Kong and Macau, they performed 33 times to over 6,300 live audience members. The group sang at HK Rugby Sevens, HK City Hall, HK Fringe Club, and Teatro Dom Pedro V, in addition to performing on RTHK Radio, TVB Jade, TVB Pearl, and TDM Macau. In the UK, they regularly sing on BBC 3 Radio, notably performing for BBC's "In Tune" in 2014. The Gargoyles have performed for nine years at the Edinburgh Fringe and have sung with Grammy-winning professional groups, including the Real Group and Swingle Singers. They have produced 13 albums to date.
