Greek tenor Nicólas Maraziotis (b. 1988) is currently at his second year of MMus degree at RCS under the tutelage of Amand Hekkers. After graduating from Keele University (UK) with a BA degree in Music and Music Technology he returned to Greece to continue his studies in music.
Between 2013 and 2014 he was a student of the Opera Studio of the Municipal & Regional Theatre of Patras under the tutelage of composer Kharálampos Goyós, director Alexandros Efklidis and vocal teacher Fotini Kostopoulou. He participated in several recitals and opera scenes such as Mozart's Le "nozze di Figaro", "O mio armor" and "Sfikse me".
He has also collaborated as a soloist with Greek artists in several performances as well as with the Plucked Strings Orchestra of Municipality of Patras and the Academica Athens Orchestra under the baton of Dimitris Botinis. In the summer of 2014 he performed as Pamikos in Theofrastos Sakellaridis' operetta "Satanerie", a co-production of The Beggar's Opera and the Municipal & Regional Theatre of Patras. His choral works include Mozart's "Le nozze di Figaro", Mozart's Great Mass, Beethoven's "Choral Fantasy" and Bach's "St. John Passion".
