Meaning "to sing, play or sound together in concert or harmoniously" in Anglo-Saxon, our band name is both our promise to our audiences, and a reminder to ourselves about what on earth we're supposed to be doing. Born of friendships forged amid the sessions and late-night ramblings of the Raven Folk Club, Chester Folk Festival, the Kings Lock sessions, the Woodman Inn sessions, the Crow'n Sceptre sessions, the Smoking Whistle sessions, and more besides; midswégan is a group of very nice people from the Incredible String Band, Full House, Galleon Blast, Tuneworks and Sølan, who really enjoy each others music and company, and who have an infectiously good time on stage!
