Customer questions
What do your clients love most about your performances?
My audience in formal recitals always finds my programmings inspiring and imaginative. I sometimes include underplayed but quality pieces and my audience loves them.
Clients of other gigs praise me for my sightreading skills which allow me to learn new pieces very quickly, sometimes on spot.
Which venues have you performed at in the past?
I have performed around the world in the UK (London, Cambridge, Oxford, Brighton, Aylesbury, Bedford, Faversham, Sittingbourne, Dorking), Poland (Warsaw), Finland (Helsinki), US (New York), Hong Kong, Macau, South Korea (Seoul) and Taiwan (New Tai Pei City).
What is the most high profile gig you've performed?
They are mostly formal recitals I give regularly around the country and the world.
What if my timings change after I've booked you?
Please advise as early as possible the rundown of the event. I try my best to be flexible to cater for slight changes in timings.
Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?
Unfortunately not.
How much time do you need to set up?
For formal recitals, I advise rehearsal time of at least equivalent to the length of the actual concert. Otherwise, please allow 20 - 30 minutes of warm-up time.
If I have a piano at my venue, are you happy to perform on that?
Yes, of course! It would be best if you could make sure the piano is in tune and if you could let me know the brand and model of the piano beforehand, it would be most helpful.
Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?
Yes, they are pieces that I have already performed previously. Please feel free to discuss the repertoire to be performed with me and allow sufficient time between settling with the final repertoire and the actual performance.
Are you able to bring your own piano or keyboard?
Unfortunately not.
Can you learn song requests before the event?
Yes, I am most happy to do that. There may be a chance I already know a piece even if it is not listed. If you require a new piece to be performed memorised, please allow plenty of time.
