Ever since my parents bought me my first violin on my fourth birthday, music has become a huge part of my life. Performing became a way to express myself in a way I knew words never could. Over the years, I have performed at many venues, in groups and as a soloist, for example the Bridgewater Hall, The Garrick Theatre, and a trip around Italy as a member of the Halle Youth Orchestra. My repertoire focuses mainly on pop music, which I feel complements my personal musical style and instrument, however I am capable of playing a wide range of genres, from electric, to musical theatre, to film classics. For each event, I am able to cater for the client's personal preferences, and can perform their favourite pieces for them. My personal PA system means I am able to perform at a wide variety of venues and events with ease. From ambient background music, to an energetic set for a drinks reception, I am eager to make your day as harmonious as possible - after all, "music is life itself".

Kate is a natural! I saw her busking and was blown away by how talented she is and how beautiful her music was. I knew I had to have her perform at my wedding. Kate was so friendly and approachable, I asked for a business card so we could arrange a booking. Communication was prompt and clear and Kate answered all my questions ensuring all my needs were met. Being an indecisive couple, Kate was able to suggest songs from her repertoire for our ceremony and drinks reception to help organise music on the day and also offered to learn something if there was a particular request we had. Kate has been completely professional, friendly and approachable throughout. She is very talented, and all our guests were so impressed with her performance. She really helped make our day even more special and memorable and we are so grateful to her.

Katie is a very talented musician who is willing to play a choice of music from a range of decades and genre. We asked her to play music from the shows which was wonderful to listen to and left you feeling uplifted. She is easy to contact and all the booking arrangements went very smoothly. She oozes enthusiasm and we thoroughly enjoyed her performance. We would definitely welcome her back to hear more of her repertoire.

This includes music whilst guests are arriving, music during the ceremony and during the signing of the register, and music whilst guests are leaving. It then includes 2 45-minute sets during the drinks reception.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

My clients have been impressed by my enthusiasm towards my work and my eagerness and ability to take on new experiences.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I have performed at corporate events in venues such as York Racecourse, bars and pubs such as Manchester’s ‘The Oast House’, and many large concert halls such as the Bridgewater Hall. I have also performed at wedding venues across the country.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

My style of music is most inspired by artists such as Lindsey Stirling and David Garret.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

I performed at the York Tourism Awards, located at York Racecourse, in March of 2022. This hosted hundreds of people, and I received an abundance of positive feedback from my performance.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I try my best to ensure flexibility so your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings cahnge in the run up to the event, just let me know as soon as possible and I will try my best to accommodate this.

How much time do you need to set up?

I need about 15 minutes to set up before performance time.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

I am more than happy to talk through the set list with you, to find what works best for your event.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, absolutely! I bring my electric violin, along with my battery-powered speaker and any necessary leads and backing tracks.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Absolutely! If a song isn’t included in my song list, there is a good chance I will already know it, or be able to learn it before your event. There is a fee of £25 for this service to take into account rehearsal times etc.
