Jacquelyn Lewis

Jacquelyn Lewis Piping provides unique and tasteful music for weddings, funerals, Burns suppers, corporate events and personal events in and around Glasgow, Scotland and Vermont, United States. A piper of 14 years experience, Jackie has played in all the New England states, Quebec, Ontario, British Columbia, Glasgow, the surrounding areas in Scotland and London. She is a member in good standing with the Eastern United States Pipe Band Association and the Competing League of Amateur Solo Pipers (UK) in grade 1, as well as being a third year undergraduate in the BA Scottish Music - Piping (Honours) degree program at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. In addition to her tutors at the Conservatoire Jackie receives tuition from Willie McCallum of Bearsden, Scotland and Donald F. Lindsay of Petersburgh, NY. She has played in the past with the now defunct grade 1 Oran Mor Pipe Band of Troy, NY and the former grade 3 Catamount Pipe Band or Montpelier, VT (of which she is a founding member).
