The pioneering cello and guitar duo, Duo Dekacord, is passionate about bringing eclectic music to the wider public. Their compelling performances have already been acclaimed by both public and professionals in the UK and in Europe. “We were privileged to witness such fine playing which produced a whole spectrum of emotions from the audience.” Terry Woodgate, editor, WSGC magazine.
Imaginative young musicians, Florence Petit and Elias Sibley formed their cello and guitar duo whilst students at the Royal College of Music, where they benefited from coaching with Gary Ryan. They were selected to play as part of the Zurich International Orchestra Series at the Cadogan Hall in London. They perform regularly around London at venues including Saint Mary Abbots Church, Kensington, Saint Mary’s Hospital, Paddington and the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. They made their French début this summer, with a most successful performance in the Languedoc village of Junas.
