We just raised some money

We’re delighted to announce that we’ve just raised £150k from some investors who are really excited about the future of Encore.

In short, here’s why you should care:

1. The site will improve faster than ever

We’re now fully focused on developing the site again, which means building the features you want, faster.

As ever, if you have any suggestions for us, fire them in our direction.

2. More musicians means more opportunities

Eventually, every musician in the world will be connected through Encore, which means more gigs organised through the site, more chances for you to get found for them, and more opportunities for you to make great music.

Joining Encore will always be free.

3. We’re building a team to make this happen

We set out to raise some funding so that we could expand our team, and we’re now actively looking for our first two hires. If you’re either:

  • A full-stack developer, or
  • An expert in marketing, growth and business development

with a real love of music, we’d love to hear from you. We’ll be posting full job descriptions to our Angel List profile very soon.

That’s all for now. We’re really excited for the coming months, and we hope you are, too.

P.S. For those of you following #ÜncoreMugGate2015, you’ll be pleased to hear it’s now over.
