Hiring me is the easiest way to create the perfect atmosphere for your event, stand out from the crowd and add a touch of elegance to those unforgettable memories. I love to share my joy of music with my unique essence of sound and style in each performance. My musical interpretation plays with time to heighten emotion and maximise impact. My energy is infectious and allows me to alchemise atmospheres as I activate guests and magnetise memorable moments. I intend to honour all advance song requests although I reserve the right to deny any requests that are not possible within the desired timeline. I have performed in various capacities as pianist, vocalist and violinist. Whether performing at a wedding or party, in a concert hall as a soloist or as part of an orchestra, or playing piano chill and lounge music in a hotel bar, I am happiest when I am creating music. I love to help people celebrate their special moments with a magical musical accompaniment. Aletheia holds a first-class Bachelor degree with honours and Master of Music degree, with Merit, from Royal Holloway, University of London. Here, she is currently undertaking a Mphil in Musicology. At Royal Holloway, she studied piano with Matthew Stanley for 4 years. She also benefitted from the musical direction of Dr Mary Dullea, Simon Watterton, The Tippett Quartet and Rebecca Miller and vocal coaching with Irene Serra. Aletheia has remained active as a performer. She plays with sensitivity and passion in a wide range of styles and genres, including virtuosic solo works. She is also an avid enthusiast, and occasional performer, of new music works, having premiered Nathan James Dearden's 'snag' for Clarinet, Violin and Piano Trio in 2018.

Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I do my best to be flexible for my clients. If timings change just get in touch.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

I don’t currently provide this service.

How much time do you need to set up?

Set up takes roughly 30 minutes depending on the location. It’s shorter if you have a piano on location.

If I have a piano at my venue, are you happy to perform on that?

Absolutely! If the piano is tuned and works well I’d love to play it.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Yes! I am happy to tailor the music to you. I will then supplement your choices with music of a similar style and often take on the spot requests from guests!

Are you able to bring your own piano or keyboard?

Yes. I can bring my own Yamaha digital piano and Roland PA.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes! I want you to have a magical time! If a song isn’t on my list I might already know it. If not, I’ll do my best to prepare for no extra fee.

We just wanted to say thank you so much playing at our wedding on the 1st October 2022, it was absolutely perfect. We had so many lovely comments about the music and how nice it was to have someone playing live. Also thank you so much for the card, it was such a kind gesture and we really appreciated it.
