Zebedee Tonkin is a Trombonist, teacher, trumpeter, keyboardist, arranger, song writer, MC and actor. Born in Norfolk, England. Trained at Wells Cathedral School and The Royal Academy of Music as a Trumpet and Trombone Scholar. Having studied music and acting intensely at school and at music college as a classical musician, he has since become more open to the commercial side of the arts. He has played with acts such as McFly, Jason Donovan and The Bahrain Symphonia, and at venues such as Wembley Stadium and The Royal Albert Hall. Teaching has also been a major part of his professional career, undertaking numerous private pupils over the past 7 years and is currently spear-heading the brass department at ForeSound Music in London. To keep his love of sports alive he has also qualified as an LTA Tennis and FA Football Coach. He feels keeping an active lifestyle and a broad spectrum of activities helps motivate all areas of life. Being a performer who is as versatile as possible is very important to Zeb. He has been known to sing, dance, rap, write and arrange in many different genres of music. His dedication and commitment to help achieve the highest of standards in whatever he is part of is the main reason he will always be happy to help in any way possible. He feels dedication, punctuality, organisation and enthusiasm are the most important qualities any working adult should possess. Zeb has always believed that working in the arts is a constant learning process. He always endeavours to learn about as many aspects of performance as possible in order to be the most all round musician, artist and teacher he can.
