We are a London based professional violin duo, playing all kinds of musical genres from classical to jazz!

Yume Fujise and Juliette Roos Juliette Roos was born in London, England in 1995. Born from a musical family she began her violin studies at the age of 5. Her musicality was quickly recognized with a first prize at the North London musical festival. At the age of 12, she won entry to the prestigious Yehudi Menuhin School. During these years she played recitals and concerto concerts throughout the country in places such as Wigmore Hall, Cantebury Cathedral, Romsey Abbey, Wimbledon Music Festival- and abroad through Europe and Asia. At the age of 16 she was a string finalist in the BBC Young Musician of the Year and was awarded the Walter Todds Bursary as a special prize. Juliette completed her Bachelor degree at the Haute Ecole de Musique in Lausanne, Switzerland and is currently undertaking a Masters degree at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Yume Fujise is a Japanese violinist, born in 1995. She is a BBC introducing Classical Artist and has been frequently appearing on the BBC Radio 3 In Tune program. After starting the violin aged 3, Yume was invited to study at the Julliard School of music, however chose to pursue her studies at the Yehudi Menuhin School. Yume has been a prizewinner in numerous competitions, internationally and locally (Trinity London Competition, 2005). She has played as a soloist with many orchestras across the country such as Kingston Chamber Orchestra, Royal College of Music Philharmonic, Saffron Walden Symphony Orchestra. She is currently undertaking a Bachelor degree at the Royal College of music, where numerous foundations generously fully fund her studies. Juliette Roos and Yume Fujise first met at the Yehudi Menuhin School aged 12. They became close friends and avid chamber musicians playing numerous concerts in string quartet, violin duo and other chamber ensemble formations. They have played together for weddings and concerts in Singapore, Switzerland, Italy and the UK.
