About Where's Frank?

Fun Acoustic Trio with a difference - a three-piece that sounds like at least a four-piece - great music performed with humour.

Where’s Frank? is a musical act hell-bent on entertaining at all costs. Ian Larkin, Phill Mason and Ross Griggs take a multi-instrumental approach to creating a sound that belies their three-piece status. A Where’s Frank? performance will deliver a diverse range of songs and instrumentals from the 1950s to present day with a high level of musicianship and a huge dose of humour. You can expect to hear Rock, Pop, Country, Blues and more from artists as diverse as The Small Faces, Tom Petty and The Human League, all given that special Where’s Frank? treatment. All three guys sing lead vocals and the musical accompaniment features instruments which include acoustic and electric guitar, acoustic bass guitar, keyboards, uke and banjo together with more unusual items such as foot-drums (to be seen to be believed), kazoo and a particular electronic instrument form the late 60s, originally endorsed by a certain ‘unmentionable’(?) artist and entertainer. These three professional musicians are all highly experienced, having worked alongside a wide range of top-level artists from across the entertainment spectrum (e.g. Roy ‘Chubby’ Brown, Chas and Dave, Judas Priest), in some of the most prestigious venues (e.g. The Savoy, Hammersmith Odeon/Apollo, The Royal Albert Hall) as well as some really dodgy ones in some less than desirable places...
