What do your clients love most about your performances?
They tell us they love our music and our musicianship, and the banter between us and the audience.
Which venues have you performed at in the past?
Ross and Steve have performed all over the UK, including such high profile venues as the Hammersmith Odeon/Apollo, the Royal Albert Hall and stadiums in Norwich and Cardiff. But we're still happy playing in smaller clubs, pubs and private venues!
Which artists have you been most influenced by?
People like Pink Floyd, Albert Lee, Eric Clapton, Tom Petty, The Eagles. But we just love good music, any good music.
What is the most high profile gig you've performed?
That would have to be the Royal Albert Hall gig a few years ago.
Do you have different line-up options?
Our line up is Ross Griggs on guitar and vocals and Steve Gibbs on guitar and vocals.
What if my timings change after I've booked you?
We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.
Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?
If required, we can play a selection of suitable music before/in-between/after our sets. Alternatively, if you have a laptop/Ipod/tablet etc.with songs you would like played we can use this, just let us know when you place your booking. There is obviously an extra charge for this if it means we have to be present at the venue for a longer period of time.
How much time do you need to set up?
Usually we require around an hour to set up all of our equipment and perform a sound check to make sure everything is working as expected. This is based on good, straightforward access to the performance area. We then require around 15-20 minutes to get changed and ready for the performance.
Can you roam around while you perform?
We can perform acoustically (with just acoustic guitars and no microphones) if required. We also have a battery powered PA system, so we can be very mobile and still be heard within a church or a garden. However, for you and your guests to get the full benefit of our performance, we need to use a stage area with our full PA system and other equipment.
Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?
Absolutely, though we're confident that the set lists we have evolved over the years will please just about everyone. We can do 60s-themed, 70s-themed or 80s themed sets too, if you'd like. If there are numbers in our Play List you'd definitely like us to perform (and any you'd rather we didn't!) just let us know - we want you to enjoy what we play!
Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?
Yes, all we need from you is a suitable mains electricity supply and a performance area at least 3 metres by 2 metres - and ideally twice that size! As mentioned above, we also have a smaller battery-powered PA that is ideal for those occasions when speed of set up and tear down is crucial (i.e in a church) or when there is no access to mains electricity.
Can you learn song requests before the event?
We'd be delighted to discuss adding a few numbers of your choice.

Wedding ceremony2 musicians
This includes music before the service begins, music during the signing of the register, and music as guests leave. We will use our battery-powered PA for this, so we can be based anywhere in the Church/Registry Office/Venue.
