I started playing pro work aged 18 backing girl trio The Chantelles opening for Tom Jones, Scott Walker and Engelbert Humperdinck. I was lead singer and guitarist/songwriter with late '70s new wave band, Fabulous Poodles, and when we folded after two US tours I got into stand up comedy with Rik Mayall etc at The Comic Strip in Soho. I played 'Buddy Holly' in first series of The Young Ones followed by numerous other tv cameos and four series of Radio 4 comedy series The Right Time. Currently writing and performing with Brit comedy legend, Barry Cryer and playing solo music and comedy gigs around the country.
