Customer questions

What do your clients love most about your performances?

I'm often told they love my chilled background finger picking and that they haven't heard other musicians play the songs I play very often, such as James Taylor or Neil Young or Lloyd Cole. Others enjoy my sense of humour when I talk to the crowd and set a relaxed friendly atmosphere.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

So many! The Savoy Hotel, Claridges, Hampton Court Palace, Grosvenor House Hotel, The Dorchester Hotel, Hyde Park Winter Wonderland, Leeds Castle, New College Oxford University, Berkeley Castle, Oxford Cambridge boat race start line, Henley Regatta, Ascot, The Oval, Clapham Grand, The Hippodrome, Stowe School, Sherbourne Castle, Arundel and Amberley Castles.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

So many! James Taylor, David Bowie, Van Morrison, Bruce Springsteen, Tim Finn, Roy Orbison, Nick Cave, Neil Young, The Beatles, Cat Stevens, Carol King, Elvis Costello, Jose Feliciano, Tony Bennett.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

So many! The Ashes Australian Cricket Team Tour Reception, Kensington Roof Garden, London. The Savoy Hotel, Claridges, Hampton Court Palace, Grosvenor House Hotel, The Dorchester Hotel, Leeds Castle, Oxford University, Berkeley Castle, Henley Regatta, Ascot, The Oval, Stowe School, Sherbourne Castle, Arundel and Amberley Castles.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I always try my best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let me know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. This is a really popular request and I actually offer this service for free.

How much time do you need to set up?

I usually set up about 1 hour before the performance time. As soon as my PA is set up I can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for my live performance!

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

My set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests have a great time However, I'm definitely happy to chat through and make sure I find what works for your event.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, absolutely! I bring my own instrument to play and my own PA and lights.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

If a song isn't included in my song list there may still be a chance I already know it. If there is a special song you'd like me to learn I am happy to do this for you. There is a fee of £30 for this service to take into account rehearsal times etc.

It was my Dad’s 90th Birthday. Dad plays blues guitar and listens to mostly acoustic. Dad said “This guy is fantastic … what he is playing is exactly what I love” Tim was great and made the evening. And playing a couple of Eric Clapton numbers was the icing on the guitar shaped birthday cake. Tim is brilliant.

Tim was amazing! He made our garden party and everyone is still saying what a fantastic time they had! Tim has a great voice and his song list was perfect for the summer festival vibe we were going for. We’ll definitely be booking him in the future and so will our guests!

If you need your event to go with a swing the Tim and Bella are the best! They played at a recent Open Garden event at my home and were completely professional, great fun and knew their audience, tailoring the music to ensure that everyone who came the garden really enjoyed themselves. Tim and Bella are both vey accomplished musicians and singers and I would not hesitate to ask them to play again at any function that I organised as I know they would help make it extra special.
