Three Little Birds trio

Singers Ela Southgate, Rachel Simpson and Sara Oschlag join forces as they take you on a journey of rarely heard, unhackneyed material in close, sumptuous harmony. Their perfectly blended voices create intricate, complex arrangements of well-loved jazz standards and Bossa Nova songs, expertly weaving in vocalese and scat solos. Ela accompanies on guitar and Rachel adds trumpet lines on top. Music is their passion and their profession. Sara and Ela are primarily solo jazz singers, performing live gigs with small and larger ensembles at weddings and restaurants as well as for listening audiences at dedicated music venues. Sara also teaches singing privately, get in touch if you fancy learning yourself! Rachel composes and makes sound effects for computer games as well as gigging with jazz bands. Ela and Rachel met studying jazz at Chichester College, and then met Sara on the Brighton Jazz scene, realising she'd studied at the same place the year before. They sat in at each other's gigs alot and singing in harmony was a natural progression.
