Customer questions
Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?
Yes. People are booking me and my band so you won't be seeing anyone else at the microphone!!
Do you have different line-up options?
Absolutely - it all depends on space, logistics and budget really. You can book me solo performing with backing tracks, as a duo accompanied by my pianist or guitarist. For a trio we add a bass player, the quartet includes a drummer, quintet usually means adding a saxophone or trumpet and there are big band options too!!
What if my timings change after I've booked you?
A shift in timings shouldn't be a problem as long as we're still performing for the same length of time and aren't booked elsewhere before or after your event. If you'd like to change the performance length after booking just get in touch so that we can agree on an additional fee.
Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?
I can provide an iPod playlist of swing & jazz tunes to fill in the gaps between my performance but don't offer a disc jokey services - best to leave that to a professional DJ.
How much time do you need to set up?
No more than an hour usually if it's me solo, as a duo or trio. Once you add a drummer things take a little longer and larger events may require more equipment and longer sound-checks/setting up time. If there are restrictions on time just let me know and we'll find a way to work around it.
Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?
It's great if you have a handful of favourite tunes you'd like included but it's also important to allow us the freedom to select songs as we go along so that we can take song request from guests and select music that fits the atmosphere in the room at the time.
Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?
We provide our own sound equipment for smaller events but for larger shows and bigger audiences may need a bigger set up sound wise. If you already have a DJ or AV (audio-visual) company booked for your event it's best if we all liaise with one another to make sure things run smoothly on the day.
Can you learn song requests before the event?
Yes definitely with enough notice!

People love my selection of music - lots of timeless classics that are very nostalgic and performed with an old school charm and flair. I also love to interact with the audience and have fun
