The Skip Jacks are a fantastic wedding and events band that will absolutely blow your socks off! Playing the best in pop and rock with a fun and folky twist, The Skip Jacks are sure to have your guests up and dancing all night! If you are tired of the ‘same old same old’ cheesy function band, and are looking for something a little bit different then The Skip Jacks could be right up your street. With their Mumford and Sons style they are perfect for a festival style wedding, and will complement any event with their carefree and fun vibe. The band got to know each other while studying at the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford, and a little while later formed The Skip Jacks! This band are a reliable and professional 5 piece, with Nicole’s effortless and beautiful vocals backed up by the awesome talents of Alex on drums, Jake on guitar, Jack on Bass and Alex on keys You can probably tell from the videos that these guys will be bringing the happy vibes to your event, and getting all your guests in the spirit of things! They’ll be playing a floor filling mix of popular modern hits as well as the classics that everyone knows and loves.

We booked The Skip Jacks after searching for a long time to find a band that fitted our needs, I am a massive fan of Mumford & Sons folk style songs and my husband loves female vocalists so when we heard the band we knew we had to snap them up. On the day the band were professional and friendly and the music was perfect from the first dance that we took ages to pick to the last dance. Everyone that I have spoken to about the band loved them. Thank you so much guys, you made the day amazing Jen xx

This group of lovely people were a joy to deal with from booking and up to their departure! The music is a delightful combo of folk-style interpretations of current hits and old favourites that was just perfect for our boho-style Forest wedding in a tipi. Thanks guys, we absolutely loved having you there! - Charl
