London-based jazz sextet comprised of specialist jazz students at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama and The Royal Academy of Music
Jessop Jessop Jessop is an aptly named London -based jazz sextet comprised of students at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama and The Royal Academy of Music. Devised by Robbie Ellison (drums) and Joe Fenning (trombone), the band features the talents of Jack 'Banjo' Courtney (trumpet), Jacob 'Jake' Werth (piano), Daniel McConkey (tenor saxophone) and Joe Lee (bass). Drawing influences from the music of Cannonball Adderley, Horace Silver, Cedar Walton, Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers, David Hazeltine, Curtis Fuller and Benny Golson, to name but a few, Jessop Jessop Jessop's dedication to swinging hard and each player's personal identity produces music both steeped in tradition and yet fresh enough for the modern audience.
