The President and The Lion are a steel pan and vocals - led trio playing a wide range of funky/jazzy music from the Caribbean to Latin America and beyond. Our lineup is steel pan and vocals (in English and Portuguese), bass guitar, and drums. We are an upbeat and HAPPY :) band, able to bring an exciting Carnival/Brazilian/Caribbean theme to any event. We can also offer a more jazz orientated set if required. The band is also available as a steel pan, vocals, and bass guitar duo without drums.
