We started playing as a duo in 2015, evolving to a full band made up of musicians with over 10 years professional experience. We’ve had the opportunity to perform all over the UK and internationally, play live on BBC Radio, play some amazing festivals, weddings, luxury cruise ships and work with brands such as Veueve Cliquot, Jaguar and organisations such as NATO, all through doing what we love. Our fun folky acoustic sets cover favourites from The Lumineers, Taylor Swift and George Ezra featuring male and female lead vocals with ukulele and guitar, perfect for a laidback festival vibe. For our electric sets, we cover indie, pop and rock bangers that are sure to get everyone dancing, from Florence, Queen, Jessie J, The Killers and The Beatles delivered with a main stage energy. We also offer a laidback acoustic duo set of beautiful love songs and jazzier tunes, perfect for ceremonies and drink receptions (check out The Miacats Acoustic Duo profile). We love making an event special, whether it’s arranging a unique acoustic version of a special song, or making a dream come true for a talented family member that’s always wanted to perform with a real band. From intimate wedding ceremonies, champagne receptions, festival sets, and dance floor filling electric sets, we focus on top musicianship and creating the perfect atmosphere.

Mia and her Miacats played at our Silver Wedding Anniversary. They played as an acoustic duo as people arrived, nice and calm and in the background, but cranked it up with a great variety for two sets with the full band, and got everyone dancing. Many of our guests complimented us on our choice of band and the performance of the band, which was really great to hear. We would have no hesitation at all in hiring the Miacats again or recommending them to others.
