Greg Francis started out his wide and varied musical career as a Trumpet player in the early 1960's. He changed over to Piano at around the age of 21 to concentrate on learning music arranging and orchestration. His early musical tastes in Jazz were always centred around the world famous Chet Baker, and in later life, he has now returned to his first love - playing and singing the music of Chet Baker. It's a very melodic form of Jazz, it doesn't offend people's ear drums and, all of the music is well known. This is true 'West Coast Cool Jazz' - music to relax to !
