Do you have different line-up options?
We always have our three singers; we can add or omit ukuleles (including banjolele, mandolin) and percussion to suit the occasion and your requirements.
What if my timings change after I've booked you?
We would hope to be able to accommodate time changes, given warning.
Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?
Yes - we can create songlists to suit the occasion, at no extra cost.
How much time do you need to set up?
We usually like to arrive an hour before performance time, but can do it to a tighter time-scale if necessary (for example for a surprise party).
Can you roam around while you perform?
We love this kind of audience interaction! This works best in an intimate venue, as we're not a loud group!
Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?
Given enough time in advance, we can discuss with you the sort of repertoire you'd like, which we can then craft into a coherent set. We can focus on particular decades, or include specific songs from our repertoire - we have even arranged new songs for clients (with a lot of advance time!).
Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?
The quote includes all our electrical equipment; we do not use lighting but are fully contained as regards audio.
Can you learn song requests before the event?
All our songs are arranged by us for us, and take time to write and rehearse (rather than being a function band reading from charts). We're happy to take requests for new songs, given enough time - there's a £50 fee for this service.
What do your clients love most about your performances?
Clients always comment on our entertainment value, and the quirkiness of our original arrangements.
Which venues have you performed at in the past?
We have performed at the Half Moon, Putney; the Bull's Head in Barnes; the Ram Jam club in Kingston; the Pheasantry (Pizza Express Music) in King's Road, and many local venues.
Which artists have you been most influenced by?
We are inspired by the historical groups - the Andrews Sisters, the Beverley sisters, and the girl-groups of the 50s and 60s. But we also love the original arrangements and style-bending of the Puppini Sisters!
What is the most high profile gig you've performed?
Headlining at the Pheasantry, King's Road - three times - has been wonderful, with a great atmosphere.
