We can also play 3 sets of 40 mins if you prefer. We are based in London and the southeast, but we do travel UK-wide and internationally. John and his band did a TREMENDOUS job at our winter wedding two weeks ago. Our guests were mainly from the Netherlands, therefore our choice of band was very important to us, considering the fact that our guests cannot sing along to every English song. However, John and his band really know how to entertain any crowd, so friendly, funny, and really understood the vibe and how to start the party! I would recommend them without hesitation, thanks again for the amazing evening🥰

What do your clients love most about your performances?

The feedback we’ve received from our clients from numerous reviews is that we have a great set list that keeps their guests on the dance floor which in turn greatly contributes to a successful event!

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

We tend to perform almost exclusively at private events - weddings, parties and corporate functions.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

The artists that have produced soul Motown pop and rock floor fillets from across the decades. For example songs from Chuck Berry, The Rolling Stones, Beatles, Stevie Wonder, Chic, Tina Turner, Bruno Mars, and Justin Timberlake.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

We are booked this year to play at the 100th anniversary of Bentley. This will be held in a very large circular ballroom, surrounded by 19 classic Bentley motor vehicles worth millions of pounds from across the decades.

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

We strive to make sure the line-up you see is what you get on the night. We do have pre-auditioned 'dep' musicians available in case a band member falls ill or is unavailable. As a professional band, our reputation means everything so you can be confident that all of our players are of a very high level.

Do you have different line-up options?

Our line-ups options are as follows: 5 piece - male and female lead singers, drummer, keyboard player, lead guitarist. • 6-piece band is as above plus a bass player 7-piece band is as 5 and 6 plus sax player. • 8-piece is as above plus saxophone and trumpet

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We usually begin at around 8.30/9 PM and play for around 2 hours but this is flexible and will be agreed upon with you prior. We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run-up to the event just let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. We usually play 2 sets of 60 minutes each with a short break in between. We can play Spotify playlists when we are not on stage, eg background music whilst guests eat and more lively stuff for those who have the energy when we have finished. But we recommend a DJ if you’d like to keep the party going!

How much time do you need to set up?

Assuming access to the venue is straightforward (i.e. ground floor room with no steps and vehicle access close to the venue), we normally need around 1.5 hours to set up and sound check. As soon as our PA is set up we can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

PA, lighting system and public liability insurance are included in your quote. We commonly require about 4 x 3 meters, but we can fit into smaller spaces so this is something we can chat about. we have a LED lighting system that provides both the stage and dance floor with the ultimate visual effects. You are welcome to use our PA system for your speeches.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

We are more than happy for you to request a first dance song which, if we don’t already know them, we will learn.
