About The Chemistry Quartet

String quartet based in Totnes, Devon. Specialising in tangos, pop covers and everything in between!
String quartet
Public liability insurance of £1 million

Originally formed in March 2017, The Chemistry Quartet is all about bringing a bit of fun to live events. Not just your average string quartet, we like to step outside the usual classical repertoire, playing pop covers, tangos and lots in between. In 2019 we had a change of personnel, but the chemistry is still very much alive! We've entertained people at several village fetes and play regularly at a growing number of venues in the Totnes area. Drop us a message if you’d like to get in touch!

I can honestly say that I could listen to this uber talented Quartet for hours an hours. Lunch at Dartington's Green Table was elevated to new heights by their exquisite rendition of both classical and contemporary pieces. What I found extraordinary was that amidst all the chatting, dining and moving about in this bustling cafe, I felt an emotional engagement with this Quartet. They have the ability to both entertain and move the listener by their original choice of music and their incredible arrangements. A must see!!

The perfect serenade to our Sunday lunch at the Sea Trout. Really enjoyed the choice of music - everything from Elbow to Tango - and their fun interpretations.
