Customer questions

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Most say our ability to switch instruments and all sing. Nobody really does this like we do, mid songs, mid set and a lot of our clients really love this aspect - it also means we have a different sound for each set but it's still our own! Offering a wide range of genres, classic hits and new tunes as well.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Festivals: Looe Music Fest, Tunes In The Dunes, Leopallooza + more Venues: Plymouth Pavilions, WAX, Plymouth Guildhall, and lots of pubs and venues across the south west

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

A very wide range but a few from each of us: Mumford & Sons John Mayer Red Hot Chili Peppers Beatles Jimi Hendrix We also love: Bob Marley, Jack Johnson, JJ Cale, Dylan, 90s baners, Folk, indie, rock, reggae and just about anything we can cover!

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Looe Music Festival 2017 & 2018 Plymouth Guildhall (multiple events across the years) Tunes In The Dunes 2018 Leopallooza 2018 Plymouth Pavilions

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

We are a unique band where we all switch instruments and take turns singing! Therefore we all take turns, this way we offer a unique and stylistic approach to our set lists. We even have mash ups where we swap around mid song!

Do you have different line-up options?

We do have different line-up options but we like to keep our flow. We have a great ability to see how a crowd reacts to our songs and we can change our set list to adapt to the generations or feel of the venue.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

Timings can change a bit but we just need to be notified ASAP as we always want to do what we can for our clients

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

We can but this is £50 per hour. We ask that you provide the music and we provide the PA

How much time do you need to set up?

A minimum of 60 mins but 90 mins is perfect

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

You can if you wish, but we find that the couples who have let us control our set list have been happier. The reason being is that we can change our set whilst we perform - this can reflect the rooms vibe and atmosphere. We have crafted our set from years of experience and always add fresh songs

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

All equipment is included and we usually require a space of about 12 ft by 5 ft minimum. Perfect space would be 15 ft by 8

Can you learn song requests before the event?

We usually ask for 1-4 song requests and we always try to learn 1 song minimum. We have a long list of songs to learn and are always adding to it. We have not let anyone down yet!

‘We hadn’t seen The Busketeers play before and it was a friend who came back from a wedding and was raving about them. So on that one review, it very much sounded like the kind of band we wanted for our wedding, and took a chance...Boy did that chance pay off. From our first inquiry down to the wedding evening itself, the guys were so organised, communicative, accommodating and just made things easy. Even when our wedding eve was delayed by a couple of hours, the guys were so understanding and professional, that they went on as soon as they could and played a full set. The set list was a perfect mix for the room of guests and everyone loved it. We would not have wished for any other band to have played at our wedding. They are so talented and were absolutely fantastic!

“What can we say? We always loved the Busketeers but when you get one of your favourite bands to play on your special day and it all comes together perfectly then you know you’re on to a new level. Luke, Andy, Olly and Matt switch fluidly between their instruments, blend their voices perfectly and put new a new spin on current songs as well as those from way back. All of our guests, young and old, found something to love about these guys and the dance floor was never empty. On a practical level, the Busketeers were reliable, easy to deal with and flexible which makes them the obvious choice. Oh, and the set ending seven-song mash up is the perfect way to segue in to your disco. If you need a wedding band that will really get the party started then you can stop looking now, you’ve found them.”
