The 9.5 Singers was founded in 2013 by a group of students. Since, the group has performed with the likes of The King's Singers and Apollo5.

The 9.5 Singers were founded in 2013 by a group of young singers at Uppingham School who wanted to further themselves musically. A close harmony / a cappella group was the result, producing quality performances for concerts and functions, featuring original arrangements by group members. The group has since performed with the likes of The King's Singers, Apollo5 and The King's Men, at prestigious events such as the London A Cappella Festival at King's Place, hosted by the Swingle Singers.
