Susannah regularly performs in solo, chamber and orchestral settings and is enjoying a freelance career in and around London. She studied at the Royal Academy of Music in London with Mateja Marinkovic. In orchestral and chamber settings, she has enjoyed opportunities to perform at prestigious venues including St Martin in the Fields, Kings Place, Wigmore Hall, Royal Festival Hall and others as well as the less conventional settings such as Peckham Car Park with the inspirational Multi Story Orchestra. She has recorded with orchestras at Abbey Road Studios and is a member of Ensemble Eroica and the Aldwych Sinfonia, two regularly performing orchestras in London. With the Sinfonia, Susannah has performed as a soloist with Dvorak's Romance in F minor. Her fascination with the instrument and the process of learning to play has grown into a keen and active interest in music education. She has taught for Northamptonshire Music and Performing Arts Trust and at Foremarke Hall and has worked for and learnt from experts in the field such as Philippa Bunting.
Su was the violinist for my wedding day and she was extremely professional, from making sure in the run up she knew the type of music we wanted and consulting with us on it... playing absolutely beautifully during the walk down the aisle and the drinks reception.
