Sunny Steel Band

The band were very accommodating to all our personal requests. They bought a smile to the faces of all our guests, not only with great music but with their vibrant personalities. Cost was very fair and worthwhile for what made our day extra special. We would highly recommend for any private event.

Because we were short of money we only had one player, but he was very good and created a great atmosphere for the party. Thomas looked the part in his lovely flowery shirt, played some lively music and was fantastic at interacting with the children (and also grown ups!) who wanted to have a go and learn how to make music. He was happy to fit in with the timings we needed, was very professional throughout and made our Caribbean Party a great success - we were very pleased that we'd found The Sunny Steel Band!

Myself and all my guests thoroughly enjoyed the steel pan music. Thomas was very professional from the point of making initial contact right through to the event. He was punctual and the music heaven. I'd definitely recommend and I'll use them again!!

I hired a solo steel drummer to play whilst I walked down the aisle and then whilst guests had drinks. Thomas came and exceeded all expectations. I got great comments from guests not only for the music but his professionalism and friendliness. During the build up he was quick to respond to emails and learnt the song I wanted. I have booked Sunny Steel band for two of our coprorate events and they have been professional, upbeat and commited. One event was our family funday which was an outdoor event and it poured with rain in the afternoon and the steel pan musicians "played on" and brightened everyones mood. I have a memory of the drummer playing with drips running down his back (despite the gazebo roof covering the rain was too heavy) while they valiantly played on to add some energy to the awards ceremony. I really appreciated this as the event was loosing its sparkle with the rain and they kept going without a fuss till the last moment and it really helped. Their manager Thomas is always courteous and professional to deal with as well as an excellent musician himself. Book them for the next time you need to get a party started and energise the crowd!
