Singer, songwriter and professional musician. Currently making a living from music, and working on a debut solo album.
Writer, vocalist and jack-of-all trades, I've been singing and playing music all my life. I've played everywhere, have a broad education in music and been involved in numerous projects. After recording an electro album at age 11, I formed my first band (Three Long Words) at 14. We gained some success, reaching the finals of the 'Young Scot Sounds Right' competition and the televised stage of Sky's 'Must Be The Music', as well as playing to packed venues around Edinburgh. After separating, I went to study music at college, and meanwhile joined Captivate Drama, playing lead roles in sold-out 5-star productions - including many in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. After graduating from college, I studied music at the University of Glasgow. During this time, I began to perform professionally in pubs and other venues. After two years of study, my partner and I decided to go on tour around Europe with our duo Wonderful Exile. We spent over a year playing in the venues and streets of many different countries. Returning to Glasgow, we began to make a living from playing pubs, functions and weddings. After a brief tour of the Canary Islands, we decided to focus on our solo projects. I am currently gigging professionally as a solo musician, and working on recording a debut album under my own name.
