Organist
Peterborough

I started studying the piano in 2007 with Stephen Barber, and the organ in 2014. I have since played the organ regularly for St John's church Peterborough, All Saints' church Peterborough, Holy Trinity church Orton Longueville, and the chapel of Peterborough City Hospital. I started studying Music at Durham University this September, and in October I received two Organ Scholarships, for University College (Durham Castle) and St John's College. From 2015-16 I was a keyboardist for the Britten Sinfonia Academy. In January 2016 I played continuo for a performance of Vivalidi's "Winter" at the Barbican with Nicola Benedetti. In June, I also played solo harpsichord for the premiere of a specially commissioned work by Kenneth Hesketh, "Concerto Salmigondis". I've also played an active role in the musical life of the King's School, composing and directing music for a production of Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" in February, and playing solo piano in Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue" in April.
