About Richard

Twice crowned best keyboard entertainer in the North East
Organist
Bishop Auckland
Verified profile

From an early age - music has been a lifeline, I have almost completed HND music at Bishop Auckland college. We can provide a soundtrack to your life - from christenings, weddings and funerals. We are able to travel extensively from our little corner of the North East of England and give you a very high quality of professionalism from the first point of contact to after your event - where we'd like to remain friends! I have a huge repertoire of music and am currently building a database of all my available music, which is a marathon task in itself. Any event big or small, we can do them all.

I haven't heard the special opportunity to hear him play in person, I live in the States... but listening to him on Facebook and on YouTube has be an uplifting and cherished event in and of itself. I would recommend him for any event, wish he'd travel across the pond. it would be such an experience. Recommended him very highly, professional competent, and an expert musician, and a beautiful person. Any event, any time, with any amount

When Richard Ellis Hawley came out to New Zealand to visit Family and friends, I took the opportunity to ask Richard if he would come and play the piano at the local rest home that I was doing voluntary work and Richard came and played to the residents for a couple of hours. Richard played a variety of songs from the era that the residents grew up with they loved him playing it was just wonderful it bought back memories to the residents and put a smile on their faces in fact they didn’t want Richard to finish. Also, I asked Richard for a cd he made of all his friends favourite songs including mine Unforgettable which was posted over to me in New Zealand where I live and I play it to my friends. Richard is a very gifted and talented musician would recommend him for all occasions

I have heard Richard perform at a wedding and other services in his local churches, and also worked with him. He is a good musician, able to work with the needs of his clients in a variety of styles. He has infectious enthusiasm and is a pleasure to work with as a fellow musician.
