The ceilidh is fiddle driven with a mix of traditional and modern ceilidh music, arranged and often composed by ourselves. As a result the music is unexpected, funky, rocky, jazzy and we are not your traditional sounding ceilidh band, although we can be if that is what people want. Fiddle is backed by powerful rhythm section of guitar bass and drums and supported by lead guitar. All dances have our caller out front with a radio mic. Our caller is exceptional and has an easy and friendly way of working on the dance floor to ensure guests really enjoy themselves; even those who have never danced a ceilidh step before. And if you do not want to dance our ceilidh music is fresh and different and fine to just listen. A quick change of instruments addition of vocals and the band transforms into the perfect Pop classics, blues, Rock n Roll, Rockabilly, country R&B outfit. Its like two bands for the price of one. We have a state of the art PA system (PAT tested) and suitable lighting. 1000w front of house PA and equivalent back line.
