Rebecca Ampleford is a British singer songwriter from the North of England. Currently working on her independent EP ‘Falling’, Rebecca has her mind set on making a name for herself.
Being a dancer from the age of 9, Rebecca has always been a performer. But it wasn't until she nervously entered her high school talent competition, that she showed her true ability to sing. Since this time, Rebecca has supported international artist, Mark Owen from Take That, worked as a session musician, contributing to the Franks Carpet Advert, taking the Birmingham Arena stage in front of 2,500 people and working with various charities.
"I’ve been very lucky to have gained experience from all the incredible opportunities throughout my time, developing myself as an artist”.
Now, at the age of 21, with a blend of folk, ambient instrumentation, and a hard-hitting R'n'B vocal, Rebecca is fighting her way into the music industry.
Her debut EP ‘Introduce Yourself’ released back in 2014 tells the story of a young girl and her roller coaster ride through romance, heartbreak, and growth. With its great success, Rebecca is trying to top her last. She is now working on her second album release, ‘Falling’, which is sure to be one to remember.
Rebecca is currently studying a BA (Hons) degree in Popular Music at Leeds College of Music, due to graduate in 2017.
