Having previously been a Music Scholar at the Sixth Form College Farnborough, I have just completed my BMus (Hons) at the Royal College of Music studying with Jonathan Barritt. From September '17 I will be studying for my Masters at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Before starting at RCM I studied with Christopher Wellington and Jacky Woods. I regularly play with quartets having won the Helen Just and Susan Connell Prize at the RCM String Quartet Competition. In quartets I have received coaching from Mark Messenger, members of the Sacconi Quartet and Garth Knox. I have recently performed in events at Cadogan Hall and Kings Place. My orchestral experience began as a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain and principal viola of the Hampshire County Youth Chamber Orchestra. I have worked with conductors such as John Wilson, Vasily Petrenko, Vladimir Ashkenazy and Vladimir Jurowski, and performed in the Royal Albert Hall as part of the BBC Proms, the Festival Hall, the Barbican and the Sage Gateshead. I have also recently enjoyed leading the viola section of the Royal College of Music Philharmonic Orchestra and Symphony Orchestra. I was also selected for the Involve scheme with the orchestra of English National Opera. I have performed in masterclasses with Maxim Rysanov, Jennifer Stumm, Lawrence Power and Garth Knox and have given recitals in venues such as the Lord Mayor's Chapel Bristol and St Peter's Eaton Square London. I also won the Concerto Competition of the Arpeggione Course in 2012. I am generously supported by the Guildhall School Trust, the Kathleen Foundation and the Bramshott and Liphook Educational Trust.
