Oliver Plant - a motivated trombone player currently in his first year at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, is surrounded by some of the best musicians around. Since being introduced to the euphonium at the age of seven by his father Marcus, Oliver fell in love with the instrument and then diversified onto the trombone only two years ago. Having spent his childhood progressing through his local Music Service in East Sussex. Oliver is primarily a classical trombone player but also enjoys performing swing, big band, and session work. In 2016 Ollie performed in Uganda with the Quicken Trust. He has already performed at world famous venues including; Glyndebourne Opera House, St John’s Smith Square, CBSO Centre and in many other venues across the UK, France and Spain.
