A trombone quartet consisting of RNCM students based in Manchester

Originally formed in late 2015, Northern Trombone Quartet is composed of four 3rd year students from the Royal Northern College or Music- Samson Chan, George Hardwick, Ross Marshall and Jack Percy, from Hong Kong, Huddersfield, the Isle of Man, and Jersey respectively. After winning the Philip Jones brass ensemble prize at the RNCM in 2017 the quartet has gone on to perform at various venues across the North of England, stretching as far as Scotland where the group competed in the British Trombone Society quartet competition.
