We have a very large repertoire and have music to suit all occasions and tastes and we will adapt to suit your needs. We can perform anywhere from you lounge or back garden party to large auditoriums. and come fully self-contained with PA & Lighting (If required). First, a confession, i play in a band with these guys. The reason for that is because they are exemplary musicians, great guys and totally professional. Those qualities all shone thought when i saw them play as a duet at the festival in Bannerbrook Park. Dave had some great banter with the crowd and the quality of the vocals and sax playing was superb. The PA system they use is also really good quality so whatever venue they play they have the gear to sound awesome. If their material is to your taste then you won't find a better band.

Do you have different line-up options?

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. This is a really popular request and we actually offer this service for free. If you'd like a DJ service via our PA after the final set until the venue closes, we provide this for an additional £100.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up about 1 to 1.5 hours before the performance time. As soon as our PA is set up we can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance.

Can you roam around while you perform?

No, we need to be static.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Our PA and lighting system is included in your quote.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to discuss this with you. Depending on the song, we may have to add a small charge for this but this really does depend on the song.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Nicholls & Simes are different from most acts offering Guitar/Vocals and Saxophone and we offer a large variety of songs and instrumentals that people know and love, that you generally don't hear from other acts.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

We have done weddings, clubs and festivals

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

We do quite a lot of songs that Michael Bublé has covered and some of his originals too but we also do classic songs and instrumentals that include the saxophone from a very varied selection of writers and artists.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

We played Bannerfest in 2017
