What do your clients love most about your performances?
I am professional and can be set up and ready to play quickly and in tight spaces. I am personable and will do my utmost to ensure that my clients and their guests have a great experience.
Which venues have you performed at in the past?
Wedding venues, hotels, private houses and corporate events/festivals inside and outside both in the UK and abroad.
Which artists have you been most influenced by?
I love piano-driven songs, so The Fray, Elton John, John Legend etc but I also like to play songs by artists that you might not expect to be performed as a piano/vocal.
What if my timings change after I've booked you?
I always try my best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run-up to the event just let me know.
Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?
Happy to play some background music from my iPad ahead of my set and during my break. No problem at all!
How much time do you need to set up?
I usually leave 60 minutes to load in and get set up. I can be set up in 30 minutes but prefer to leave some extra time in case of any issues.
If I have a piano at my venue, are you happy to perform on that?
Yes, of course - as long as the piano is in working order and in tune, then I'm happy to play on it! However, I use layered sounds and patches for my performance so I would prefer to use my own stage keyboard/piano via the PA.
Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?
I generally prefer to 'read the room' and choose the correct songs from experience. Being a piano and vocalist, my bookings usually require a similar vibe.
However, I'm definitely happy to chat through and make sure I play any of your favourites that might be in the set.
Are you able to bring your own piano or keyboard?
Yes, absolutely! I bring my own instrument to play via the PA.
Can you learn song requests before the event?
If a song isn't included in my song list, there may still be a chance I already know it.
If there is a special song you'd like me to learn, I'm happy to do this for you provided I can make it work as a piano/ vocal. There is a fee of £40 for this service to take into account my time.
