Miranda began learning the cello when she was 7 years old and by the time she was 10 she had played with NCO and performed at The Royal Albert Hall. After gaining her BMus Hons from The University of Sheffield she began working as a freelance cellist, playing around London with different musicians at a variety of venues, such as The Roundhouse and with LGO, and in multiple festivals around the UK. She frequently records and performs alongside artists for events, such as Amazon’s Summer Party and London City Hall for Team London’s annual party. For the past couple of years Miranda has been playing with Triplica and is being mentored by Gary Crosby OBE who is guiding her development in jazz.
